Only 4 barrels made (90 dozen).
A lovely expression of Macedon Pinot Noir, elegant, bright red and dark fruits, lovely structure with fine tannins and easy drinking. Natural ferment, time on lees in barriques prior to bottling.
Winemaking Notes.
100% whole berries, tipped into a fermenter and gently plunged once a day for 16 days, to keep bright and fresh.
After 16 days it was pressed direct to barriques.
25% New French oak.
Malolactic ferment finished end of winter.
Matured for 10 months in oak prior to bottling.
No fining or stabilisation, however lightly filtered prior to bottling. Vegan Friendly.
Tasting Notes.
Lovely red-purple colour, asian spice. Red and dark fruits, juicy freshness and elegance, balanced by fine supportive tannins to a long finish.
